A master’s thesis was discussed in the College of Arts at the University of Al-Qadisiyah, entitled (The Morphological Lesson according to Qara Sinan (d. 852 AH) in his explanation by Shafiya Ibn Al-Hajeb (d. 646 AH) for the students, Athraa Hillel Abdul Jubouri, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Haider Habib Hamza. The aim of the research is to study the morphological effort according to Qara Sinan in his explanation. On the Shafiya of Ibn al-Hajib and explaining the most important morphological issues in his book and analyzing them phonetically and morphologically, while mentioning the opinions of ancient and modern scholars regarding them, and standing behind everything that this book carries and explaining it to the reader. The study reached a set of results, including that listening was of great importance to him in terms of citing and inferring his evidence on several issues.
In his Safiyah, he based his report on some of his rulings on the Holy Qur’an, as he cited in Safiyah fifty-four Qur’anic verses, and his interest in the recitations, especially the frequent ones, and his care in directing them. He was not satisfied with directing the recitations according to the more correct schools of thought, but he also mentioned the other schools of thought, and he paid great attention to the poetic evidence, as his poetic evidence in Al Safiyah reached about thirty verses. In it, he adhered to the restriction and timeframe to invoke poetry represented by the end of the era of Ibrahim bin Harama, d. 150 AH.
